The newer 5600 with the DTS built-in is otherwise the same unit. But you get a kind of cheap looking DTS sticker. There are no 6 channel in's or anything, if you can get one for around $1500 or less I would definitely buy it, I love mine (w/o the DTS too). I paid $2k for mine 17 months ago...
