Nak AV10

Posted by Robin Chen [IP: 204.48.18.70] on April 29, 1999 at 16:20:40
Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (WinNT; U):

I am in the process of upgrading my HT from DPL to DD and DTS. I have been reading about the NAK AV10 and it seem to get very good reviews from people who has tried it. The one concern I have is that I have a Pioneer DV-05 which outputs 24bit/96kHz directly out of the digital outputs. Can the Nak decode this directly or does it down mix the info. The Nak home pages is kind of vague about this mentioning 24bit DSP circuits in one sentence but then in another sentence mentioned 20bit processing for all 5 channels. Also, it did not mention anything about 96kHz sampling. I want to get a Receiver that can take full advantage of the output of my DVD.

Thanks for any info.
