Sounds like what Lexicon's Music Logic does. It works quite well also. In fact, I think Circle Surround is very similar (it was designed first and foremost for music, after all :).

I figured it would sound good, I have taken quite some time out to listen to Proceed gear in the past, including their DAC's and I have to say that their amps are on my short list next to Bryston.

From playing with a Casa Nova, I can say that the setup is a BEAR (because you can choose the frequency, slope and phase for the sub crossover, for example), but in actual operation it's quite simple. That is important.

What convinced me about the Casa Nova was the sound. It was simply amazing, even in straight stereo with no effects. Gorgeous. Perfect image. Smooth. Wow. The waiting is terrible (they're back-ordered). D'oh!

I know very little about SACD right now. I have read a bit about it, but not enough to speak about it intelligently. DVD-audio I know slightly more about. A DVD transport with an upgradable laser assembly is COOL. Brilliant idea, even if it turns out to not be a DIY upgrade.
