Muted Pro Logic on RX-V995

Seriously - MANY ProLogic receivers have an overall volume "drop off" simply because of the PROCESSING INVOLVED to "turn 2 channels into four". Of course, I'd look at any "setup" parameters for ProLogic mode, specifically the "default" CHANNEL LEVEL SETTINGS. I wouldn't be surprised if you find they're not set to "0dB" compared to Dolby Digital or even stereo mode. :)

If the "default levels" are OK, I wouldn't really worry about it - you can always "goose" the levels +3dB or so to make the "transition" easier.... :)
