Acurus Act3 Bass Management Upgrade

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows NT):

Acurus has just released their Bass management upgrade kit for the ACT3 preamp/proc. Has anyone upgraded their unit yet? What improvements were added?
