I got mine yesterday. Even though I spent a lot of time listening to one before choosing it, I was still pretty surprised by the difference in sound. It's very impressive. The setup wasn't that bad once I figured out how it works. The logic is a little odd, but it's very consistent throughout the operation of the processor.

I have not seen a locking problem in switching between CD's and DVD's this far. My player is a Toshiba SD-3006, in case that helps any.

There is mention of an upcoming EQ module for Casablanca from Z-Systems, and I think that is what the EQ button on the Casa Nova is for.

The bass management is nothing short of staggering in its thoroughness. The remote is surprisingly easy to use, and the menus are pretty easy to navigate.

I haven't even started to optimize the
speaker levels and delays yet, and I'm already impressed with it's startingly precise soundfield in Dolby Digital. With some tweaking, I think I'll be able to make it even smoother.

The first thing I noticed is that the bass seems cleaner and less 'rumbly' than it did with my Lexicon DC-1/THX. The vocals also sound smoother, and the image is clearer.

Tonight I'm going to see if I can order the Circle Surround processor. Once I get that, I won't miss my Lexicon at all.
