Thanks for the great advice, especially the stuff on recording from DVD to VHS. I'd been curious about that for a while. One more question: I have a newer Toshiba hi fi VCR, if it turns out that it can not handle macrovisioned signals, is there any type of adapter that can be used? I've heard about such a device, but I don't know what it's called or where one would find it. Also, if I want to record a DVD onto VHS while I watch the movie, do I have to watch the DVD in Prologic to get a proper recording?
