EQUAL POWER!!!!!

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95):

Folks,
I need some suggestions for this dilemma!!!!!! My DD A/V receiver has unequal power to the speakers; 80w to the fronts, 40w to the rears. There are pre-outs to add another amplifier/amplifiers to boost all 5 channels
plus the subwoofer. Is there something on the market to "boost" the rear channels to 80w. I think I read somewhere that it takes "a lot" of amp to "boost" 3dB and I'm looking to "boost" an additional 40w so I am "lost" Any suggestions??????? for less than megabucks?????? Thanks
