I can't compare them, since I've only heard the B&K, but I can tell you a little bit about pros and cons, which will hopefully help you a little bit.

Personally, I liked the B&K quite a bit. It was almost as smooth and musical as the Casa Nova. It has, AFAIK, one huge advantage over other pre/pros in its price range, which is that it's upgradable. Unlike the Theta Casa Nova, you have to send it in for upgrades, but it will still save you a lot of money in the long run.

The Sunfire has full automatic operation and includes a tuner.

The Parasound already has component video switching and analog inputs for future formats. Parasound's DACs have been well received in the past, and my experience with the AVC-2500's predecessors leads me to believe that the 2500 will be a rather nice piece.

Having heard the B&K ref20, I'd recommend it; I like its sound and B&K provides a means for keeping up with progressing technology.

I hope this helps.
