Hi Folks, I finally received my CasaNova about a week ago after selling my Lexicon DC1 and expressing my opinion on the unit.

On the Bad Side:

Thus far, I have not been impressed with the overall functionality of the unit.

On the first day, the unit locked up 8 times while navigating through the menu system, and can only be alleviated by powering the unit down from the back.
On the second day, garbage characters would appear on the display screen upon boot-up which rendered the unit useless.

Theta claims it to be a problem with the e-square??? and also put the blame on other equipment possibly discharging / emitting static - like my VCR (Uuummmhhh). Seems like alot of folks were having these types of problem. The unit is being shipped back for service after two days.

Another annoying problem that I've notice is during DVD fastforwarding. I get a load popping noise and the dialogue comes on after about 5 seconds.
Other things I've notice - the menu system is very slow, the display screen on the unit is barely readable after five feet, the unit gets extremely hot during usage, the remote control is not pleasing to use.

On the Good Side:

I have to admit the Sound Quality of this unit outperforms the DC1 in my opinion. Bass management is excellent, configuration options are plentify and overwhelming at first - but once setup - a breeze to use. You'll be sitting for hours just playing around with the different crossover. The unit is built very well, unlike Lexicon's flimsy back panel. A gem in the rough but needs more refine polishing on the software side.
