actually, there is info from denon -- but not in their US site. check out http://elec.denon.co.jp/ASIA/PRODUCTS/homepro/AVD1000.html which includes a link to a pdf on the decoder.

i know i've also read a review of it somewhere on the web, but i can't remember where... i'll let you know if i run across it again. for what it's worth, i recall the review being pretty good ;-)
