Why all the Sony-bashing?

Certainly Sony can make a good product, but it's like they chose not to. The same held true for a while in their car audio stuff too. they just went cheap, and rode their name recognition. their mini-systems sounded like toys as well. in short, they seemed to dump quality in the amp and pre-amp sections, threw in a couple of dsp's to give people an "awe" factor, and rode name reconition. i've not even touched a sony product in 4 years, so maybe they've changed... i might be all wrong... but their lack of quality and lack of attention to the sound they were trying to produce just rubbed me wrong. (although i will admit that they probably make the best mass-market cheap cd-player.) (and best mass-market cheaper cassette player for that matter too.)
