How do I connect two pre-amps?

If your pre-amp does not have a 5.1 channel input, I don't think Denon AVD-2000 is a good choice. In this case, Denon AVD-2000 have to be placed between pre-amp and power-amp. Therefore, analog sounds from CD-plyaer or other analog inputs have to go though two volume controls, pre-amp and AVD-2000. This will degrade sound significantly. Also AVD-2000 cannot handle power-amp that well. Volume control isn't that good.
