I would suggest all of you to have another look at the latest in the Sony ES line. Power supply has been beefed up over previous models and pre-amp sections have been cleaned up. You will also find lots of inputs and outputs to accomodate just about everything. I feel that the STRDA30 and 50 es are definitely worth looking at. They are not as expensive as the Yamaha DSPA1 or even the new Denon AVR5700, since these units are geared for the high end receiver buyer. If your looking for a good all around buy without choking off the wallet then give the Sony ES receivers a look, they have come a long way over the years. If it is higher end performance you're looking for in the prices ranges of the Yamaha, Denon, or even Marantz' new monster then compare the new Sony TAE9000ES and TAN9000es for almost the same price and get the performance of separate components!
