Help Paradigm / Yamaha

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (Win98; U):

I recently purchased Mini-monitors + CC350. This dealer does not deal in Yamaha Receivers and strongly suggests that I don't use any Yama processors with these speakers. He thinks Yama sounds too bright with MiniMonitors and that the combo may be detrimental to the Hi range driver. Has anyone experienced this/is there any truth to this? I run these on an older Pro-logic Denon now.

I am not an expert on receivers but I chose the Yamaha RX-V795 after almost three months of listening to various receivers at different stores.

Can any Guru help me? Thanks in advance :-)
