During my auditions with the Yamaha RXV-995 and Paradigm Reference Studio/60, I had found it to be a bright combination. Based on this and posts by a few others, I would suggest that you try the Paradigm/Yamaha combination in your home system and see (actually, hear) what it sounds like. Just make sure that you audition it at moderate and high volumes, as well (since they tend to be brighter/harsher at higher volumes).
