I just signed on to this forum and would like to put my two cents in, and ask a question.

1. - I purchased the RX-v2095 one week ago and I am very happy with it.
2. - The RX-v2095 replaced three of older Yamaha components (DSP-100U,DSR-100pro, and an AVC-70). They were purchased in 1989. I was/am very pleased with these components, but I wanted Dolby Digital and DTS. Let me tell you it has made a big difference.
3. - I decided on the RX-v2095 mostly on the fact that it supports 7 channels of processing like my older equipment, I have one Carver and 2 ADCOM AMPs that I still use so the AMPs in the power that came with the RX-v2095 was a secondary issue.

I hoped that this info is of some use, and that I havent rambled on too much.

I just one question for anyone out there.

Question: Should I be using Di-polar speakers in my system. And if so how much of a difference do they make?
