Sony Ta-n9000es And Bi-wiring

Posted by Jon Rather [IP: 206.170.1.179] on July 17, 1999 at 08:01:17
Using Mozilla/4.6 [en] (WinNT; U):

I have A new Sony Ta-n9000es power amp.
For speakers I have polk rt55's for front mains, Polk cs400 for centers, and sony ss-u400's(much older in years) for rears. I would like to Know if anyone knows if the power amp can handle bi-wiring without any drawbacks or circut problems. The fronts and center will be done this way, but becuase the rears arn't capable they will be wired normally until replaced. In addition if I can't fit two wires into a spade lug for the amp side does it matter that I put one set of wires on a spade lug and the others on banana plugs. Lastly do the wire pairs really have to be seperated from each other by a couple of inches during their run to the speakers or can they be together, for example useing monstere cables biwire speaker cable which has both pairs wrapped in one sleeve. I picture of the back is included if that helps at all.

Thanks for all the help, this is important to me.
