approximating re-eq?

thanks for the suggestion. However, setting everything to flat does not accomplish my goal of taming over-bright soundtracks. BTW: these tone controls operate in the digital domain so there is no problem with phase shift, etc. What I'm hoping to find is some idea of what frequencies RE-EQ cuts and by about how much?
