THX Processing

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 95):

Hello,

I own a receiver that offers THX 5.1 and 4.0 ultra processing. So far I've used the feature when listening/watching Dolby Pro-Logic sources.

Does THX processing also help when listening/watching Dolby Digital and DTS sources?

Also, what does it mean by the terminology "THX post-processing"?

Should I treat the THX processing like a DSP mode?

Please help educate the ignorant...
