This has been a subject of much moaning and groaning, here and elsewhere. ('Locking up' of Sony receivers.)
It has always been in the manuals, I guess they had to plaster a sticker on top for those who do not read their documentation- They are telling you that, surprise, the system may lock-up and need to be reset, that's all...
