You are possibly referring to an euro model. The 608 is one of the ami counterparts.

Randy: Are you from the states?
If so then the Pioneer is ok.

NOTE: In this price range one should really consider buying something a class higher without DTS - ESPECIALLY IN EUROPE.
Cheap DD+DPL+DTS performance is *far* worse than great DD+DPL and *NO* DTS.
In addition DTS will be nothing more than a curiosity in Europe.

IMHO so do not stone me.
