Is bi-amping for real or psyco-acoustic ?

There are too many variables that you run into such as amplifier gain, polarity and so on. I suspect after you take the time to adjust levels and check polarity - you might not gain a thing after all your efforts. My opinion and suggestion is a little different. I would suggest taking bi-amping to the lowest bass and using a subwoofer for the bottom end. The important key here is that you will remove a great deal of demand on the Energy and Paradigm speakers at the lowest octaves, which will reward you back with cleaner midrange. A high-pass filter needs to be used, and that is installed between the preamp and power amp. Hey! Now you have the real benefit of having that monster power amp! Alan
