Hi, THX is much more than a cross over circuit.THX is a desighn and installation standard as well as a equiptment standard. It covers things such as A/C routing,lighting,acoustics room modes,rattle tests,seating positions,enclosure desighn and much more. THX is also a mathching system (IE)preamp and amp both THX certified output voltages and input voltages remain at a fixed pre determined voltage dispersion patterns on speakers are also very different from thoes on a conventional speaker type (By the way thoes that tell you THX speakers cannot sound good for music either dont know what they are talking about, or havent a clue about proper set up Thanks RLA
