I have a Casa Nova, which I upgraded to from a Lexicon DC-1. The Casa Nova's sound is hard to match, even with dedicated DAC's. With the Circle Surround option it sounds as smooth in surround as a Lex, and although it doesn't provide 7.1 channels, it does have stereo surrounds and does a wonderful job of reproducing ambiance.

Also, the Casa Nova is amazingly flexible. Just as an example, you can choose not only the frequency of the bass x-over, but also the slope and phase.
