Yama RX-V595 is mixing sound sources, PLEASE HELP

It sounds like the Yamaha has too much "crosstalk" from the tuner. Question: does your area have REAL STRONG FM stations (i.e. inner-city locale)? that might also be a contributing factor.

Try DISCONNECTING the FM antenna and see if the "crosstalk" disappears/reduces. You might want to review the "system options" and see if there isn't something enabled that shouldn't.

Finally, take the receiver back for an exchange.

I vaguely remember a similar discussion within the past couple of months on the similar subject.

I certainly hope the Yamaha "gurus" chime-in too! :)
