DD receiver suggestions

I don't know anything about the Sony receiver you found. I, personally, shy away from Sony AUDIO stuff because I've read too many "bad equipment" postings regarding Sony AUDIO receivers.

However, if this receiver has a built-in DD decoder, it "sounds OK" to you through YOUR SPEAKERS, and you can afford it, get it. "Audition it" for a couple of weeks, or as long as the "Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee" store return policy" allows. If this receiver meets your needs, you're set. Otherwise, I suggest Denon (high-end), Harmon Kardon, or even Pioneer (low-end) for DD receivers. :)
