Denon AVR-2800 vs AVR-3300 vs. H/K AVR 65

Using Mozilla/4.61 [en] (Win98; I):

Hello

I will be receiving my new Atlantic Technologies Compact Theater Two speakers Thursday, and will need to upgrade my aging H/K PM655 amplifier very soon. I know what two channels of 60 watts of power from H/K sounds like... *plenty* loud. What does 105 or 85 watts from Denon sound like?

Is the 85 watts from the Denon 2800 enough to fill up a 19' wide room that is open on the other side?

Strange to me that the H/K line doesn't offer S-video switching until the AVR-65, another important consideration for me. I'm leaning towards the Denon's for 2 reasons, the 5 channel stero mode and 24 bit 96 KHz sampling compatability.

Are these features things that I will actually use? Will the 7.1 feature on the 3300 ever be used?

Quite frankly I don't even know where 7.1 comes from, and I'm actually a tad fuzzy on the availibility of things recorded in 24 bits at 96 KHz.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts! Comments on issues that I've missed are welcome!
