Using Mozilla/4.7 [en] (Win95; U):

Simple: use a COMPOSITE VIDEO CABLE from the receiver's "MON OUT" jack to the TV's VIDEO IN composite video jack.

VOILA! instant on-screen menus.

If the composite route doesn't work, use an S-Video cable (assuming your TV has an S-video input jack). I know S-video works. :)
