Looking for good pre/pro under $3000

Using Mozilla/4.06 [en] (Win95; I):

Between Marantz/AV9000 and Sony/ES9000 what is the better one.
Or can anyone suggest the good pre/pro under $3000 ?
And YAMAHA DSP-A1,if I use only the sound processor ( use as pre/pro ) does it worth the money.
