Yamaha DDP-2 question on setup

Using Mozilla/4.7 [en] (X11; U; SunOS 5.7 sun4u):
I am wondering if I could utilize a Yamaha DDP-2 to promote my system to AC3 functionality. I have Pioneer DV-414 DVD
Yamaha RX-870 (just before AC3) and a denon amp that I use to power the rear speakers. Does anyone with a DDP-2 have an answer to this? Since I have no
picture of the back panel of a DDP-2 I
cant be sure that it would work.
