A separate(HK PA5800/PT2500/DD) VS. Denon AVR3200

Your setup will definitely generate great sound. However, the PA-5800 does
generate some mechanical noise (buzz)
from the big transformer, which may cause some irritation to some user.
The Denon AVR3200 does not have the dynamic power of the PA-5800 but it does a good job of all-in-one box, it is mechanically quiet, it has s-video switching capability and it takes less space in your rack too. I would consider the Denon over the other setup
even the sound may be a little less quality to the Harman (but to some user
it may not be noticeable).
