DSP A-1 with dipole or bipole surrounds??

DSP. The A-1 uses a pair of front surrounds and rear surrounds for uses other-than-movies or hometheater. personally, i kinda like them (especially the sports mode). having dipole speakers in the rear shouldn't be too problematic, although the music dsp settings will suffer. however, i would not personally recommend dipolars in the front. regarding the denon 5700, that just seems like a different beast. i like some featers, but it lacks other things that are just unacceptable (only one center channel speaker output for example...) both the a-1 and the 5700 are pretty good, and they both have their shortcomings. pick the one that suites you the best. good luck
