LFE channel of Dolby Digital

When you listen to music both the front loudspeakers and the sub-woofer will reproduce the bass content (which is not generally a good idea). If your front loudspeakers are set to "Small", all the low frequencies from them and every other channel set to "Small" will also go to the sub-woofer along with the LFE. The same happens when you listen to music. Be certain that you have specified sub-woofer "Yes" in the set-up menus of your receiver.
