Video switching question for Yamaha owners

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that if you connect an s-video source into the 995 (or similar) you _can_ get a composite signal from the monitor out. Can anyone here validate that?

Better option is to get the tributaries adapter and use s-video all round....
