Nigel,Yes, I think I've seen that obscure
site you're speaking of, detailing
LD return/exchange procedure. Be damned
if I can come up with the URL though,
ummm, I believe it still pops up on
alt.video.laserdisc on 'Rot' type
threads. I also remember the info
on it was, I believe, circa 93-94, so
I don't know how valid it would be anymore, as there's been so much
consolidation in LD dist. lately. I guess I was waiting to see how far
I got with pioneer-usa, before I got
my or anybody elses hopes up too much. Since I've originally pursued this, they've asked for shipping and
contact info only. That was 12th Jan.
I've made several requests for further details on whats going on since,
including another this morn, no
replys yet. I will update once I know something
concrete! Andy.
