Hey, now that sounds interesting...that would be a shock given Cameron's attention to sound design in all his movies (with the exception of the low budget original Terminator)

Aliens is much earlier and has a pretty intense 5.1 soundtrack on the THX LD version that I have...True Lies is also a standout on LD...Shocking that a big budget movie soundtrack (Isn't that Ben Burtt or Gary Rydstrom from Star Wars fame that did sound design for that?)
wouldn't be easily adaptable to DD...I'd love to hear some expert thoughts on that one...very curious indeed!
