(I have the Special Edition LD, and I like that version of the film better as well so we agree on that one!)

I agree this disc sounds fantastic. It just doesn't have much rear channel action but so what! It is a much better movie than most other movies that try to imatate. I did notice I had to turn the volumn up (-15) higher than usual (-25).
