I couldn't agree more with you. I don't plan on buying any kind of DVD-player in the future without the digital outputs. I don't use the analog outputs in my Pioneer 414 because its D/A conversion does me no good without straight analogue passthrough.

What is "I2s" digital connection?

Is this something that is easily retrofittable to existing processors or would we still have to purchase new processors with this type connection?
