: - It has both standard 4:3 and "wide screen 16:9" format. But a word of warning : "wide screen" format is not really "wide-screen" as in other
: disk but more like the standard 4:3 format with top and bottom cropping off. (You can tell that the 4:3 format show more staff at top and bottom of the screen).
: Looks like Disney cheats on this one.
: But I prefer the standard format anyway...

Actually, Disney did not cheat. If you go to the Digital Bits website ( www.thedigitalbits.com )there is a really good interview with two of principles in charge of the video transfer. In it you will learn the letterboxed version is true to the theatrical release. What is unique, however, is that the director worked with them to produce a 4:3 version which preserves the director's intentions and mood and feel for each shot. It is too complex to go into here, but in essence much of what you see in the 4:3 version was basically "reshot" and recomposed the entire way through. I highly recommend reading the interview. Quite interesting. The 4:3 version done for this movie may be quite unlike any ever done before for home video.
