Do Toshiba 2109 or 3109 output PAL?

In fact some DVD players, when hacked to be region free, will output NTSC or PAL depending on the region selected and disc playing. For example, Pioneer players when hacked with the well-known "solder blob" hack (which I think enables a partial service mode), will output PAL if region 2 is selected and a region 2 PAL disc is played. The player's MPEG decoder board can convert the native component video format of DVD into either NTSC or PAL depending on region/disc - at least I think that's how it works!!
