Audio/Video sync problems with Sony 530

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows NT):

I just bought a Sony 530 DVD player and notice that when I fast forward to any spot on a DVD that that the audio and video are out of sync by about 3/4 of a second. You can watch people speak and the audio does not match up with the video. Has anyone else seen this? I had an A310 on loan and did not see this problem.
