Audio/Video sync problems with Sony 530

Take the player back where you bought it, get your money back, and get y'self a Panasonic A320 (or 120 if the 320 is too expensive).

What you're experiencing is NOT NORMAL and, rather than mess with getting it "repaired", just GET A NEW PLAYER. :)
