There were rumours about this a month or two back (see Forum 1), but they were scotched by Blockbuster's parent company.

When you think about it, it would be lunacy for a video store or chain to carry DIVX as their business model is completely contrary to the video rental model. Circuit City tout one of the "benefits" if DIVX to be that you do not have to return the disc to a rental store, but rental stores rely on repeat business from renters doing exactly that, returning to the store.
