: I own about 6 DTS audio discs. The only one with problems is the Mystic Moods disc which constantly switches away from DTS to analog and back very rapaidly. Is there somthing amiss about this disc?

In my experience dropouts are fairly common with DTS audio discs, either because of a faulty disc or because the codec which was used to encode the disc material is incompatible with the codec which the receiver is using to do the decoding. For the former there is not much to be done except exchange the disc, for the latter a firmware upgrade by the manufacturer (if available) usually cures the problem.

Also I am not quite sure what you mean by switched away from DTS to analogue - do you mean between digital lock and no digital lock? There is no analogue on DTS audio discs or DVD's.
