Bill I did notice the lens flare but I think it's supposed to be that way - I have never seen a video anomaly that resembles lens flare. On my copy of the SPR LD there are a couple of scenes with noticeable video drop outs. When I asked Image about this I was told it was probably a disc pressing problem - the discs were pressed at short notice in the US, where pressing problems are apparently higher than at the Japanese pressing plants.
