Blade runner DVD supposed to be DD 2.0???

: The reason for Dolby Pro Logic output is that the audio is DPL only. No DD to speak of.

The soundtrack format of 'Blade Runner' is in fact Dolby Digital, but it's 2/0.0 Dolby Digital, which is matrix encoded so that your receiver or processor treats it accordingly and engages Pro-logic (which is actually a version that's a sub-set of the Dolby Digital decoding).

There are a few DVDs that use PCM audio as an option - usually music titles - but most, even those with mono soundtracks use Dolby Digital.
