Left-over DIVX players a deal or not?

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt):

I was at Circuit City today and was going to buy a Panasonic DVD A120 player. The Sales guy there also had the Panosonic DVD-X410U which was the DIVX DVD player. It was marked down to the same price as the A120 because DIVX is out of buisiness. The guy claimed that it was a better machine except it did not have compenent video output. The manufacture date on the unit was May 1999, so it is a recent machine.

I have no knowledge of the DIVX machines. Does anyone know how this player (X410U) compares technically to the A120? Is it pretty much the same machine if you take away the DIVX capability?

Dan
