"The Matrix" Rear/Side Sound Problems

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 95; DigExt):

I have a problem when playing this DVD...no sound in my side and rear speakers. Has anyone else run into this problem? Everything is fine during the intro/menus when the sound is DD 2.0 but as soon as the movie starts and the sound switches to DD 5.1 the sound goes away on my sides and rears. My system:

DVD: Pioneer DVL-90
Pre/Pro: Lexicon MC-1
