96kHz/24-bit DVD Audio and Sony DVP-S500D

While I was looking for into external DACs, I came across a company called MSB. If I remember right, they found a way to intercept the 24/96 digital signal before it gets trunc'd. They're offering upgrades to several popular DVD players that make the misleading claim of supporting 24/96. The original poster could check to see if his player is upgradable. I guess MSB goes back quite a while. They've been offering DTS and DD upgrades to LD players for a while.
